Sacred Heart College – Hall of Honour
Since it was opened in 1897 by the Marist Brothers, Sacred Heart College has produced, and will continue to produce, distinguished alumni who have achieved outstanding success in their chosen endeavour or profession. The Hall of Honour was intended to be an integrated interpretive display and focal point within the building’s main circulation space – designed to recognises these exceptional former students. Working collaboratively with Hames Sharley we were able to achieve the desired level of integration between signage panels and wall lining – resulting in seamlessly protruding yellow panels through the plywood lining. The series of panels are playfully positioned up and down the walls to eliminate any sense of hierarchy. All achievements are recognised and celebrated individually and as a collective.
